Art Reception at Crestwood Coffee
Please join the35212, The Birmingham Art Collective, and Crestwood Coffee on Monday, March 15th from 6:00 p.m. p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a closing reception for Willow Scott’s Tentacles show. Willow says:
Tentacles is the product of an imagination overload. The shaped canvases stemmed from my fascination with sea life & positive/negative space in pastries at work. These multicolored canvases invite the mind to wonder. I played with several recycled metals, handmade papers, & paint to concoct these shapes. My mind ran wild!
In addition to having the opportunity to linger over Willow’s multimedia pieces that have been on display for the past few weeks, you can see the creative process in action as she works on a new painting. Crestwood Coffee will have their normal menu items available for purchase.This is a great way to support one of our local businesses, mingle with neighbors, and show appreciation for one of Birmingham’s talented artists. We hope you can come!
