Woodlawn Business Association
The Woodlawn Business Association is currently recruiting members and collecting 2010 dues. Membership dues will be used to sponsor community events in Woodlawn and to purchase 25 banners for the area. All businesses, organizations, artists, freelancers, and supporters of the Woodlawn neighborhood are invited to join. The next meeting is Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11:45 a.m. at the Woodlawn Public Library located at 5709 1st Ave North.
The Woodlawn Commercial Revitalization District is directed by Main Street Birmingham, Inc., a non-profit on contract with the City to facilitate and enhance revitalization efforts. Main Street Birmingham works directly with the local business association as a partner, providing technical resources, information, incentives, and consulting services.
