UPDATE: We are posting daily updates regarding ways to volunteer and donate in and around our neighborhood here.

Donations will be accepted on Friday at Christian Service Mission and at Church of the Highlands main campus on Friday, April 29. Volunteers are also needed to help sort items. The Dream Center is seeking people to cook for relief workers and tornado victims, as well. Please email dreamcenter@churchofthehighlands.com to sign up.  For additional information about volunteer opportunities with the Christian Service Mission and the Dream Center, follow Christian Service Mission updates on Facebook and Twitter and visit the Church of the Highlands Relief website.

The Dream Center has mobilized its mobile grill and is providing breakfast in Pratt City. They will be assisting with cleanup and providing items for tornado victims in the Pratt City area, as well, and have requested donations of the following items:

Clothing
Work gloves
Shovels
Wheelbarrows
Toiletries
Toilet paper

More specifics will be announced after a 9 a.m. meeting with city officials. I’m in contact with the Dream Center and will provide updates as I receive them.

10:30 a.m. Update: Requesting donations of garbage bags and individually wrapped snacks.
