Our One Mile will, if fully implemented, create a vast network of bike paths and walking trails that will be the envy of any major city without such a system already in place.

In the days and weeks following the April 27 tornadoes, many 35212 residents gave time, energy and resources to various relief organizations in the area. As we reflect during the six month anniversary of the storms, we thought it would be good to get updates from a couple of the organizations that our neighbors worked with following the storms.

Avondale Elementary School of Fine Arts invites all current students and parents, prospective students and parents and community members are invited to to tour the school, view the curriculum and meet the superintendent, teachers and principal.
